What is Mobile Team Challenge and What Does It Set Out to Achieve?

MTC is based on the principle that engagement through enjoyable, accessible and relevant developmental activities and the building of mutual respect and trust can provide cultural ‘gateways’ to alternative lifestyles.

The tools and training that we can provide you with (in some cases free of charge – see 100% Funding hyperlink on left) act as a catalyst for bringing people with a shared interest together, within a supportive environment where secure opportunities are provided and participants are encouraged to make decisions for themselves.

Mobile Team Challenge is a totally unique, portable and patented experiential learning solution that is used in a training, development and educational capacity to bring about lasting change in behaviour and attitudes. Unlike most sports, MTC is not dependant on physical fitness or skill levels to achieve success.

For Youth and Community organisations the MTC system includes a range of state of the art equipment packages (that provide between 100 to 254 different activities), a Train the Trainer programme, which shows you how to get the most from the equipment and how to consistently produce the outcomes that you want to achieve. In addition, MTC provide as part of the package, comprehensive manuals and books, which cover all aspects ranging from risk assessments and safe operating practices to activity and equipment set-up. We also present a tried and tested solution-focused approach to debriefing known as Appreciative Facilitation.

The MTC equipment and methodology is currently being used in thousands of organisations in fourteen different countries and on five continents around the globe. These organisations are using MTC to develop a wide range of important skills relating to:

• Self Confidence, Personal & Inter-Personal Communication

• Teamwork, Trust, Decision Making, Problem Solving

• Integrity, Leadership, Conflict Resolution, Honesty

• Self Esteem, Physical Fitness, Accountability, Change

In summary, the Mobile Team Challenge system provides a very easy to use, extremely effective and totally unique learning resource for youth and community organisations. This top of the range system means that you can provide high impact, indoor and outdoor training, development and educational programmes for up to 130 people at one time.
