WHAT IS MTC?
What is Mobile Team Challenge?
Mobile Team Challenge is a totally unique, portable and patented accelerated and experiential learning solution that is used in a training, development and educational capacity to bring about lasting change in behaviour and attitudes.
Over 40 HMP’s and YOI’s around the UK are finding that regular use of the MTC equipment with inmates is seeing significant reductions in the number of cases of offending behaviour.
Participation in successful group activities is seeing the inmates achieve “natural highs” and a sense of achievement leading to an increase in self esteem, self belief, self confidence and self-motivation.
For the HMP and YOI Sector, the MTC system includes a range of state of the art equipment packages (that provide between 100 to 254 different activities), a Train the Trainer programme, which shows you how to get the most from the equipment and how to consistently produce the outcomes that you want to achieve. In addition, MTC provides, as part of the package, comprehensive manuals and books, which cover all aspects ranging from risk assessments and safe operating practices to activity and equipment set-up, as well as introducing a tried and tested solution- focused approach to debriefing known as Appreciative Facilitation.
The MTC equipment and methodology is currently being used in thousands of organisations in fourteen different countries and on five continents around the globe.
These organisations are using MTC to develop a wide range of important skills relating to
• Leadership, Personal & Inter-Personal Communication
• Teamwork, Trust, Decision Making, Problem Solving
• Integrity, Conflict Resolution, Honesty, Self Confidence
• Self Esteem, Physical Fitness, Accountability, Change
In summary, the Mobile Team Challenge system provides a very easy to use, extremely effective and totally unique learning resource.
