MTC Staff Training & Qualification MTC Phase One - Training Overview: MTC Phase One Training consists of a two or three day Train
the Trainer programme, which is provided alongside your initial equipment
purchase. The MTC Phase One Train the Trainer programme is extremely enjoyable,
highly interactive and always very well received by all participants. Topics covered on this foundation programme are divided into four key areas: 1. Technical Skills MTC Europe In-Company Train the Trainer Programme: The primary training and development approaches that have been integrated into the Train the Trainer programme are as follows: • Appreciative Facilitation. A groundbreaking approach that has been documented by Cheri Torres in her well-read book, “The Appreciative Facilitator”; based on the established, integrated approach that Cheri and Carolyn Weisenberger (Rainey) were already incorporating successfully in their training. Appreciative Facilitation challenges the traditional problem-solving and organisational development model with which most people are familiar and turns in on its head, to achieve some astounding results. The approach is based on statistically sound data and research and it is transforming families, teams, organisations and communities around the world. • FISH! The four principles from the award winning FISH! Philosophy, which is based on the world famous Pike Place Fish Market, are brought to life using the MTC Accelerated and Experiential approach. Play, Choose Your Attitude, Be There and Make Their Day really come to life when the MTC approach is used. • Playing to Win. This approach is best summarised by the statement “Going as far as you can with all that you’ve got”. The book, Playing To Win, is a best-seller in the USA; its famous author, Larry Wilson (founder of Pecos River Consulting and the very successful Wilson Learning Corporation) is an MTC partner in North America and a strong and very positive influence on the way we operate. • Challenge by Choice. A simple and powerful tool which gives delegates the potential to go further than they believed possible whilst at the same time ensuring their physical, emotional and physiological safety when they take part in interactive training sessions. The creator of Challenge by Choice (Karl Rohnke) is a globally respected public speaker, consultant and best-selling author. Karl is also an MTC Associate and has been brought to the UK in the past to deliver specialised workshops for MTC clients. • MTC Learning Cycle. The MTC learning cycle underpins the whole MTC approach, and the model on the right hand side of this page demonstrates the central principles of this approach. • Lessons from Geese. The wonderful story that explains why geese fly in formation has some simple and yet powerful lessons to teach us about personal, team and organisational effectiveness. Dramatic footage of geese, flying in formation, provides an insight into how we can excel as a team. The Canada Goose is the centrepiece for the MTC Logo and you can find out more about the story and lessons from Geese by clicking here or clicking on the MTC link on the left. MTC Europe Certification: Everyone who attends and participates in the Phase One MTC Train the Trainer programme is awarded an official MTC Certificate that is recognised by a growing number of organisations, both public and private sectors, that now integrate MTC into their work. MTC European Membership: On completion of training, your organisation automatically receives MTC European organisation Membership. Membership for Year One comes free with the investment you make at the outset with MTC. Membership in Year Two and onwards is £497 per organisation and £97 per Trainer. organisation and Member benefits are significant and ever-expanding. More details can be found by clicking here. Phase Two Programmes Phase Two MTC Training and Development programmes and workshops cover more advanced Training concepts. This ensures that individuals and organisations continue to develop the ways in which MTC enables them to achieve their objectives. Phase Two programmes are normally delivered a few months after Phase One Implementation has been completed. Here is a reminder of the MTC Phase Two development process: Phase One Evaluation - Training Needs Analysis - Advanced Development Workshop – Application Customisation Once we have determined the success/effectiveness of Phase One, and the ways in which MTC is being used in your organisation, we will then update our mutual understanding of your requirements and outcomes. A one-off or series of customised training and development interventions will then be designed and delivered to meet your timescale and budget, and to exceed your expectations. MTC Phase Two programmes will address issues under one or more of the following Key Performance areas in which MTC specialises: Leadership, Communication, Coaching, Relationships, Conflict Resolution and Change MTC Europe Advanced Train the Trainer Programme: Phase Three Programmes and One on One Services Coaching, Mentoring and Consultancy MTC has an extended team of very experienced coaches, mentors and business performance consultants. These range from household names that almost anyone in business would recognise, to professional home-based high performance tele-coaches, who may not be household names but are highly effective at what they do and the results they consistently help clients achieve. Due to the fact that MTC builds such strong relationships and high levels of trust with all clients during Phase One implementation, it is common for MTC to be asked to provide further support in the form of coaching, mentoring and consultancy. A foundation of all our coaching, mentoring and consultancy programmes is MTC Phase One implementation. If organisations do not have the MTC equipment, qualified staff and underpinning approaches and tools, then MTC is not best placed to work with them in these areas. |
